Paige knight

policy advisor

Paige Knight (she/her) provides strategic and technical policy and research support to the State Revenue Alliance and its state partners. She comes to SRA from New Mexico Voices for Children, where she led research, analysis and advocacy on tax and revenue policy. Paige’s work supported the Stronger New Mexico campaign, which advanced tax fairness by ensuring the wealthy paid a more equitable share, expanded targeted tax credits for working families, and secured robust funding for key initiatives such as early childhood care and education. Originally from Minnesota, Paige earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from Luther College in Iowa and her master’s in public policy from the University of New Mexico. Before beginning her policy career, she worked at a variety of direct service nonprofits in Iowa City, Chicago, and Albuquerque, including a year as an AmeriCorps volunteer. These experiences further strengthened her interest and belief in the power of public policy to create equitable, systems-level change that helps families and communities thrive. Paige lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she enjoys biking, hiking, and exploring the Land of Enchantment with her family.
